Mordecai Smyth was the first artist to sign to Mega Dodo Records in 2011, releasing the pop-psych classic, "Sticky Tape And Rust".However, his 2017 album The Mayor of Toytown is a more "progressive" affair and was voted "album of the year" in Goldmine magazine (USA). His 2022 album, "Things Are Getting Stranger On The Shore" struck a fine balance between prog and psych, to much critical acclaim.
